#9 for My Boy Whitty



My boy is quiet & real.  My boy is true & smart.  My boy loves his momma!
My Whitty is turning 9 today & this birthday is a little extra special.  My boy is having to work a little harder in school this year & it hurts your heart sometimes, but he is working hard.  As a momma you want to watch your children succeed in everything, but this is  going to be a growing year for my boy.  He is an introvert learning to navigate in an extrovert world.
Whitty,
We are learning together how you learn.  We are learning together how you tick & what you really like.  You like quiet & calm, but don't always get it.
Whitt, you are smart.  You are smarter than anyone knows. Yes, 3rd grade is hard, but if anyone can conquer these learning struggles - you can.
Whitty, one day we are going to look back at this 9th year & it will be one that defines you - of that I am sure.  Wherever your adventures take us I will be right behind you the whole way.

Happy New Year 2025!

 Well, the end of 2024 caught us a little off-guard. So I am little late . . .  2024 started off with WFM5 turning 18! CRAZY! In the middle of 2024 Bay turned 21! CRAZY! Whitty is 17 & Baby Lee is in middle school! CRAZY! How can they be this old? How can 2 live in another city? How can the hubby be 50??! We had a lot of fun this year, we traveled & tailgated. We laughed & laughed some more.  We also grew this year inside & out, in times of tears & joy. We lost our sweet friend - Kim Haynes, our Auntie Kim. We had moments of telling her daughter that Mommy went to Heaven, we had hard conversations & times to say goodbye.  We had times of telling EK how wonderful her momma was. 2024 also sent another to AUBURN! Thanksgiving 2021

 I am so THANKFUL for all my crew! I am so GRATEFUL for what they all mean to me! I am so BLESSED to be a part of their lives! (I am obviously a little bit cheesy on the holidays) This year I am thankful for . . . My much better half ~ he takes care of us all so well. I love you! How is it time for Summer? How are we buying teacher gifts? How have I registered my baby girl for her senior year of high school? How have we had 5 days of soccer try-outs & we are only halfway through? How are we scheduling senior portraits & ordering senior jerseys? How are 2 of them taller than me with bigger feet? How do they make their own plans & inform me of what they are? How do we have 1.5 drivers at our house? How do they stay up later than me? How is all this happening so fast? HOW?
