What does it mean when you are walking through the "loveliest little village on the plains" & other people look at you (strangers) & say "She must be crazy?"
What does it mean when you run into someone you know & they run up to you & get you to sit down & drink water & eat food?
What does it (really) mean when someone asks you "Are these all yours?
It means you are SuperMommy that took her 3 blessings to AU by herself. (Honest moment: we sat at the game with in-laws) BUT most of the day was a 1:3 adult to child ratio. Rumor has it I was looking "rough" about 430 yesterday afternoon.
We had a BLAST! The team is probably still talking about us - they loved meeting the Martin Mayhem. Aubie thought we were too cute, as did the ladies at the AU team store. We hiked the entire campus & ran into some people we knew - you always do in AU.
I spent the whole day not worried about the house or email or whatever, JUST focused on my kiddos.
We love this place. I fell in love with my best friend in this place & have beautiful memories with beautiful friends in this place. I will always love this "loveliest little village on the plains." I pray my kiddos get to experience this adventure!
